Remate’s granddam on his dam side, Deseada LXXXII,
was bred in the United States by Jose Luis Bonilla. This mare is a granddaughter
of Legionario III and Capitan XIII.
Deseada LXXXII’s sire is Luceno 1973 ITI, a son of Legionario
III. Luceno 1973’s dam, Pandora 1970 ITI, is line-bred Bizarro V. Bizarro V is
the sire of Xenophon USA - one of the first Andalusians imported to the U.S.
Xenophon sired the famous stallion Teodoro (out of Sangria).
Deseada LXXXII’s dam, Alanna Fundadora ITI, is a daughter of
Capitan XIII. Capitan was of Terry breeding and was imported to the US in 1969.
He was owned by Allan Parkinson and ultimately exported to Mexico by Gabriel and
Thersa Alarcon. Capitan is one of his most famous offspring was bred by Garrison
Ranch and was trained to high school movements.
Alanna Fundadora’s Dam, Isabella ITI, is a daughter of the
famous Cardenas-bred mare Recluta (Bilbaino III x Karioca) and
is from a military mare Bersa who is by the famous military stallion Helicon.
